“The number one speaker according to other moms in our group!”
“Jane’s talk changed my life.”
Jane says, “Parenting can be such an isolating experience, and when we feel alone for too long, our souls begin to whither, we doubt our effectiveness and wisdom, and really need friends! Parenting groups break the silence about the difficulties of parenting and offer both companionship and mentoring through presenters and Mentors. It's one of my favorite places to be, encouraging parents in one of the most important roles of their lives: shaping children.”
“I could listen to her all day!”
“We can’t wait to have Jane back.”
Jane’s first published article appeared in Today's Christian Woman in 1993. “Far and Away” dealt with the trauma of moving, and evidently moved a number of people, including a Mothers of Preschoolers group, who called and invited Jane to speak at their meeting. From there, the group took her speaking information, made copies, and passed them out at their MOPS Council meeting. Soon coordinators for both MOPS groups and other women's groups began to call, inquiring about her speaking ministry.
Jane has since spoken in hundreds of MOPS and other parenting groups around the country, as well as at MOPS International Conventions.
"Our MOPS group was so blessed to have Jane speak at our meeting. She was engaging and dynamic with the perfect amount of seriousness and humor. Her talk prompted great discussion afterwards amongst all of the women. We will definitely invite her back again in the future."Jena S.
"Jane drew us immediately into her world - which was every one of our worlds too. Her transparency in speaking on Survive or Thrive implicitly invited the women to share honestly and deeply and unreservedly. "Heather S., Women's Ministry Director
